Kasid LLC d/b/a Asset Recovery LLC (“Asset Recovery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Contact details such as your name, company, email address and phone number;
  • Shipment and claim information — bill of lading and PRO numbers, carrier names, dates, origin and destination, described loss and claimed value;
  • Documents you send us, including photographs, delivery receipts, invoices, packing lists and correspondence;
  • Account and billing information where we are engaged to act for you.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in order to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

How We Use Your Information

  • To assess, prepare, file and pursue claims on your behalf;
  • To carry out damage assessments and inventory work you engage us for;
  • To communicate with you about your matter, our findings and billing;
  • To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing, promotional or lead-generation purposes.

To do the work you engage us for, we necessarily disclose claim information to the parties involved in it — carriers, brokers, cargo insurers, adjusters and, where relevant, salvage buyers. We share only what the claim requires. We may also use trusted service providers who help us operate our business, such as hosting and email delivery, and we disclose information where required by law.

Claim and Client Data

Information about your shipments, customers, pricing and operations is commercially sensitive and we treat it as confidential. We use it only to deliver the work, and we do not disclose it beyond what the claim requires or the law compels. We are glad to sign a separate confidentiality agreement where a client prefers one.

We do not publish client names or claim details as case studies without written permission.

Communications

We use your email address and phone number to correspond with you about your enquiry, your claim and our services. We do not operate an SMS marketing programme and do not send automated text campaigns. If that ever changes, we will obtain express consent first and update this policy before any message is sent.

Cookies & Analytics

This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and describe what is collected. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell browsing data.

Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. We retain claim records for as long as necessary to provide our services, to support any subsequent dispute, and to meet legal requirements — for freight claims this generally means several years beyond settlement, since the period to bring suit extends well past the filing date.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may need to retain certain records where a claim or legal obligation requires it.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes affecting how we handle your information will be communicated directly where practical.
